    Nice towels, wish I could buy extra bath size ones

    I have different towels that I like for different things. In the winter, I like big fluffy thick towels because I get cold and like to snuggle in them when I step out of the shower. But in the summer, I don't really need a big heavy towel. Also, the heat isn't on in the summer, so the heavy ones take longer to dry. This is also true for the time it takes in the dryer, so the thinner ones are nice. These aren't thin, they are more of a medium weight. They say ' 500 GSM' which is grams per square meter. Towels go from around 300 (thinner) way up to 900ish where they are thick and heavy. There are other factors of course, like loop style, materials, etc. For ease of understanding, I would call them ' medium.' This set comes with 2 bath towels (27x54, normal size, not overly small, but not the big ' bath sheet' size either) 4 hand towels, and 6 washcloths. Personally, I would have preferred 4 bath towels, and fewer smaller items. I just don't use that many washcloths or handtowels (I have a paper handtowel dispenser in my bathroom) and usually use a bath poof or something, so that is a lot of washcloths for my family. Still, it wasn't like it was misadvertised or something, just a preference. I did look to see if I could buy extra bath towels to match, but couldn't find them. The company makes other towels, but I didn't see this weight or color as ' al a carte' type offerings. The pattern is either smooth or honeycomb. I am sometimes type A and would have liked the extras so I could have 2 honeycombs out or 2 plains, the mixture of one of each hanging there together bugs me. I suppose I could buy another entire set, but geez, that is a lot of washcloths I don't need! Again, I didn't take any stars from the product because that is just a personal preference of mine, no fault of the product.They washed fine and the colors stayed nice and dark (I have the navy ones...and I dyed my hair red for some reason so I ~need~ dark towels now!! ha ha!!) They shed a little in the dryer, but not so much that my lint trap was chock full of blue fluff. They are really nice, practical, everyday type of towels. They would be fine for a guest, too. They are thin enough that if you need to pack one for a vacation or gym, they won't take up your entire bag.
